Our Vineyard

555 Harmans Mill Rd

The Willespie site sits on the prized gravelly loam soils the Margaret River region is famous for. The unique soil structure creates a microclimate for the vines along with beneficial heat retention provided by the high gravel content near the surface. The gravel and sand subsoil ensures good drainage, while the high clay content enables the vines to achieve adequate water access throughout the growing season.

Wilyabrup Vineyard

The Wilyabrup vineyard was established in 1976 with the purchase of 40 hectares on Harman’s Mill Road. All the vines on the estate are non-irrigated, relying on winter rainfall to replenish the water table and supply the vines with water throughout the Spring and Summer. The 49-year vines produce fruit of great elegance and concentration, as well as fine structure to allow aging in our Semillon, Chardonnay and red wines.
