2001 is touted as being a particularly good year for reds in Margaret River. This wine definately supports that statement! Not aggressive in its pepper, the 2001 is a very balanced wine. Spicy savoury characters, hints of coconut & delicious supple fruit sweetness..with a touch of good dark chocolate. Prunes are also evident. All in all a fabulous wine that sits well with food from cassoulets to a quality cheese platter.
