This wine shows in the glass as bright lemon with a green hue at
the rim. The nose is youthful and complex, with a pronounced intensity
of lemons and cut hay blending nicely with the integrated spice
and richness from the oak.
The palate is dry and showing the citrus and grassy fruit characters
that the region is noted for. Balanced acidity along with a rich
mouth-feel from the partial barrel fermentation, gives structure
on the very long finish.
A full-bodied wine, which while still youthful, shows great cellaring
potential.
